Today I bring you the Mexican salsa de aguacate recipe, a super creamy Mexican avocado sauce recipe, I use this salsa de aguacate with jalapeno for everything, for tacos, flautas, even in my salads I use it as a dressing and it is delicious, a sauce that combines with everything. Salsa de aguacate is also great for flautas and the best part of this recipe is that is a salsa cruda recipe. It means that most of the ingredients in this recipe are raw. I like to roast the jalapeno but that is optional you can add it roasted or raw and if you want this Mexican avocado salsa to be spicer use serrano instead of jalapeno chili. Best part! avocado sauce is vegan if you use almond or soy milk instead of Mexican cream or cow milk.

And best of all: it’s real avocado! In many places in Mexico, they make a salsa that they claim to be avocado but in reality it is made with zucchini which is what gives it the green color but it is much cheaper, (they use it in food trucks or taquerias) but Today I teach you how to make a Mexican creamy avocado sauce, much more nutritious and that you can also prepare as spicy as you like.

INGREDIENTS FOR THE MEXICAN AVOCADO SALSA
The avocado sauce is made of garlic, serrano or jalapeno, coriander or cilantro, avocado, milk or cream, and salt to taste.
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 serrano pepper (use only jalapeno if you do not like spicy and get rid of the seed)
- 1 bunch of coriander or cilantro
- 1 jalapeno pepper
- 1 avocado
- 1 cup of milk (can be almond or coconut)
- salt to taste

How to Make Creamy Avocado Sauce?
Place all the ingredients in the blender starting with the milk.
Blend until pulverized and serve! One trick here so that the creamy avocado salsa doesn’t turn black is the milk. Cow’s milk has an enzyme that prevents avocados from turning black.
I have seen many recipes that add lemon to avocado … which I am not a fan of. I just feel like the avocado tastes so smooth and delicious that I feel it is ruined by the lemon.
What is the difference between avocado sauce and Guacamole
Guacamole has chopped vegetables such as onion, tomatoes, and jalapeno, as well as cilantro. I have seen some American Guacamole recipes that use also garlic. Never in life an authentic Mexican Guacamole will have garlic on it! Unlike, most Mexican salsas will have garlic. The avocado Salsa or salsa de aguacate does have garlic and all the ingredients are blended to create a kind of pure that is the avocado sauce.
MEXICAN CREAMY AVOCADO SAUCE FOR TACOS
