    EASY HOLIDAY TRIMMINGS

    Published: Nov 20, 2017 · Modified: May 24, 2022 by Laura Muller

Today I will teach you how to prepare two easy and delicious options for garnishes, perfect for any family meal, ideal for Thanksgiving and even Christmas dinner. These garnishes combine perfectly with turkey, ham or any main dish. The pair of recipes are also easy for children to eat them right up. And if that wasn’t enough, the recipes are also healthy and nutritious with a delicious touch of El Mexicano® Brand Cheese and Products.

Has not it happened to you that you take soooo many hours cooking the turkey only for
the children to not want to eat it?
Or that you spend so much time worrying about the main dish that you no longer have
time to make side dishes and trimmings?
These two recipes are perfect for such occasions because they are very simple to
make, economical and abundant. The best thing is that children will love them so this is
certainly an ace up your sleeve that you must have for the holidays.

First I’ll teach you how make some delicious baked potatoes with shredded cheese and
ham. Trust me this is a delight! I make these in the oven but I’ve also seen them
prepared in electric ovens and even in the microwave. As a side note, if you are going
to make them in the microwave, remember not to cover your container. For this recipe,
Oaxaca Cheese El Mexicano® is the perfect choice because it melts perfectly. This is
also an inexpensive dish so you don’t need to spend more money to have a complete
    and delicious dinner.
In the second recipe I will teach you how to prepare a cold version of coditos, elbow
pasta, with Panela El Mexicano® cheese and cubed ham. It can be served either hot or
cold, although personally I prefer the cold version. I also like to add vegetables
especially if it’s for children. In this case I added celery and corn kernels but you can
add whatever vegetables you want. As an example, broccoli would be a delicious
    addition.

Like in all my recipes, I like to add that healthy touch, so in these two dishes I chose to
use El Mexicano® Cheeses and Products because they are:

    ❤-Gluten Free.
    ❤-Made with grade A milk
    ❤-Without conservatives

    ❤-No hormones
    ❤-Salted with sea salt.
If you are like me, someone who loves cheese in all its presentations but you are taking
care of your health, I highly recommend these products because they are healthy and
delicious. You can even use the different variety of cheeses in cube form on small trays
and you’ll see how quickly they become the sensation of the night.
