    Homemade Play Dough for Children

Today I did something different: a homemade clay or play dough, super easy and economical, you only need 4 ingredients to entertain your children for hours! And if your children are like mine that everything takes it to his mouth, this is ideal because they are not toxic! You can also let it dry to make decorative figurines, spheres, and many other things.

This week I wanted to do something different and since my baby boy, Jorge Daniel is in his terrible twos, the age when kids love taking everything to their mouth I decided to find out a way to make No Toxic homemade Playdough!

It is perfect because it is very cheap,  and the kids love it!

Plasticine stimulates children, feeling the textures of different materials, especially if they are between 2 and 4 years is something super important in their development

In addition, if they are a little bigger they can stimulate their creativity by making different shapes and objects.

I love it because you can let them dry or simply put them in the oven at 180ºF for about 10 minutes and ready, (if they are too thin the figures are ready faster) and they harden, they can make their own little animals to play, things to decorate the house, Spheres for Christmas, letters or numbers, etc.

You can even attach a small magnet so you can put your creations in the refrigerator. They are divine and very original!

    No toxic!

If they are brought to the mouth they are not toxic, nor am I telling you to let them eat it.

I used these colors because they seemed the most striking. You can add glitter and look very nice

You can also combine the coloring to form other colors depending on what you want to do.

As you use them they are going to dry, so what I do is that I put a little water, put them in a Ziploc bag and put them to the refrigerator, so they last longer and I can take them back when Jorge wants to play.
