I use plain yogurt, but vanilla yogurt is delicious in this recipe as well. You can modify this easy and healthy recipe however you like to fit your dietary needs and tastes.

FRUIT AND OATMEAL PARFAIT
8 tbsp of old fashioned oatmeal
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of ground cinnamon
1 pinch of ground clove
1 cup of milk
2 cups of water
1 large piece of orange peel
3 tbsp of shredded coconut
1 cup of yogurt
Chopped papaya, mango, kiwi, strawberry and banana
1 tbsp of honey
- Grind the oatmeal, salt, cinnamon and clove together
- Mix the milk, water and oatmeal mixture in a pot
- Add the orange peel and bring to a boil on the stove
- Once the oatmeal is boiling, set it to low heat and let simmer for 5 minutes
- Take the oatmeal off the stove and add shredded coconut
- Let it cool in the refrigerator for 30 minutes
- Serve the oatmeal in a bowl and remove the orange peel
- Spoon the yogurt on the oatmeal and add the chunks of fruit on top
- Add a pinch of grated coconut and a drizzle of honey
