Yogurt Panna Cotta without cream is one of my favorite jellies. I especially like natural yogurt jello because of the bitter flavor of the yogurt but it can be prepared with Greek yogurt if you prefer a creamier flavor. This dessert is perfect if you are following a diet or the Weight Watcher program. The strawberry-filled yogurt jelly is wonderful because it is easy to prepare and it has excellent flavor. Did I say it looks spectacular? In addition to the contrast in flavor that the sweet sauce made of red fruits gives to the sour taste from the jello. This recipe is to make a jelly with strawberries inside and a delicious strawberry sauce to put on the jelly. This is a kind of Yogurt Panna Cotta.

INGREDIENTS Yogurt panna cotta
Yogurt Pannacotta is really easy to make and it makes the perfect nutritious dessert. What I love the best apart from the delicious flavor of this yogurt jelly is that it looks GORGEOUS! Really it will be the hero recipe in your next gathering or family dinner.
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- 750 gr or 26.45 OZ (1.6 pounds) of Natural Yoghurt or it can be vanilla but check the amount of sugar.
- 2 cups of strawberries.
- 1 1/2 cups cottage cheese or cream cheese
- 1 1/2 envelopes of gelatin.
- 3/4 cups of sugar substitute or natural sugar.
- 1/4 cup sugar

INGREDIENTS TO MAKE STRAWBERRY SAUCE
- 400 gr or 1 pound of strawberries
- 1/4 cup of sugar substitute or natural sugar.
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 lemon
You can also prepare this same gelatin recipe with strawberry yogurt or mango yogurt and I assure you that it will be a wonderful sensation of flavors. If you buy flavored gelatin you have to modify the amount of sugar.
I’m going to be honest with you. Every time I prepare this recipe it looks different. It doesn’t matter that they are the same amounts of ingredients, I always achieve a different effect. For the strawberry marbling that you see in the photograph, I left it resting one day with the strawberry sauce or jelly on top of the yogurt jelly inside the refrigerator for one night.

How to make Yogurt Panna Cotta with Strawberries sauce
This is very simple, the first thing you will need is gelatin and decide if you are going to use Greek yogurt or natural yogurt. The difference between Greek yogurt and plain yogurt is that Greek yogurt is creamier and has a slightly salty touch on some brands. I prefer natural yogurt because it has a small acid touch that combines perfectly with the sweet flavor of the strawberries sauce.
What makes my yogurt jelly recipe very special is that it contains strawberries inside and when you cut it it is a real beauty. On top of the gelatin, place a mixture of berries such as blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries but you can do the same with slices of peaches, or even a tropical mixture such as pineapple and cherries. My God, my mouth is already watering! I’m going to make that tropical yogurt jelly or better a piña colada.

How To Make Yogurt Jelly Step By Step
Place in the food processing 1 and a half cups of cottage cheese or riccota cheese (if you want the light version, other wise use cream cheese) along with the yogurt. Add 1/4 cup of raw sugar, and drops of vanilla extract. Reserve

In another container, place the gelatin in warm water, stir until smooth

Add the yogurt mixture with the gelatin little by little.

In a mold that you have at home, spread a little vegetable oil so that the gelatin does not stick

Pour the mixture into the mold

Cut only the head or stem of the strawberries and bury them whole in the mixture
Refrigerate for 3 hours or over night

Finally, empty the gelatin from the mold, taking care not to break it. Decorate with the syrup and fruits.

- To make the syrup: Place the sugar in a container, half the juice of a lemon, water and the 400 grams of strawberries
- Let it boil for 30 minutes over low heat until it thickens. Let cool.
Why Yogurt Jello Is A Healthy Dessert
Yogurt is rich in vitamin D and it can give you a creamy texture for your desserts instead of the fattening milk cream. This particular recipe for yogurt panna cota integrates a lot of fruits that are rich in antioxidants. At the end you have a delicious and nutritious dessert.
