Piranha Plant Pops inspired in the Super Mario Bros video game
Make this super easy and delicious piranha plant pop for your next birthday party!
Ingredients
- Strawberries
- Sliced almonds
- Green color candy melt
- Popsicle sticks
- Store-bought cupcakes
- Mini ice cream cones
Instructions
- Start by melting de candy melt which is what will take longer to make. I got this Wilton Candy Melts Melting Pot that is one of the best buys I have made this year! it makes the process so much faster and mess-free!
- In a bowl smash a couple of cupcakes along with the frosting. We want to create a dough like the one used for cake pops to fill up the mini ice cream cone.
- Fill up the ice cream cone with the cupcake dough and stick in the middle the pop stick.
- Submerge the ice cream cone in the melted candy melt and with a spoon also cover the stick in color green
- Then place to dry over some parchment paper and let it cold down.
- Give a good rinse to your strawberries and then dry them with a paper towel.
- Take a strawberry and with a knife get rid of the leaves.

- Take small pieces of sliced almonds and stick them inside the strawberry slice we just made as if they were the piranha fans.
- Stick the strawberry in the stick.
