RECIPES USING PREGO ITALIAN SAUCE
Most of us when we see Italian Sauce, the first thing we think of is Pasta! But there are many more dishes that you can prepare with a little imagination. I recently prepared some delicious zucchini stuffed with ricotta cheese that my mother used to prepare for us as children and today I want to share with you this tilapia fillet in Prego Italian Fresh Mushroom Sauce that is delicious and is very easy and fast to prepare.
You have 2 options, one is to prepare it in the pan or put it in the oven!
At home, we eat fish, salmon, or tuna at least three times a week. Eating fish is important for the proper development of children’s brains, it is an excellent source of low-fat protein that can be prepared in a creative way to awaken the interest of our families.
This tilapia fillet is easy to prepare and only requires a few ingredients, which we will use to complement the use of more vegetables in our dish.

Ingredients for 4 people:
- 1.2 oz or 600 g of fish fillet (I used tilapia)
- 1 garlic clove finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 12 mushrooms
- 2 Bell Pepper
- 2 cups Italian Prego Fresh Mushroom Sauce
- ½ cup of grated cheese
- 1 cup of water

HOW TO PREPARE FISH FILLET IN TOMATO SAUCE WITH MUSHROOMS
- Put a little olive oil on the pan.
- Fry the garlic for a few seconds
- Place the fish on the garlic and add a little salt.
- Add slices of Mushroom and Pepper to the fish and sauté a little.
- Once the fish is cooked on one side, flip.
- Mix the Italian Sauce with Prego Mushrooms, add to the fish and bring to a boil over low heat with the fish.
- Add a little cheese over the fish and cover so that it melts.

- Mix the sauce with the water
- Cut the vegetables into slices
- Put a little bit of olive oil in the base of your container.
- Place the tilapia fillets on top and sprinkle some salt over them.
- Spread the mushrooms and peppers around the pan.
- Bathe with the sauce.
- Cover with aluminum foil
- Bake at 360 degrees F (180 C) for 35 minutes in the oven.
