Mangonadas is a mixture of natural mango with chamoy, lemon, and chili powder. Authentic Mangonadas Popsicles is a Mexican refreshing delight. This Mangonada Paletas Heladas Recipe is prepared by creating a pulp with fresh or frozen mango and lemon juice. The mango mixture alternates with pieces of mango cut into squares and chamoy. The mangonadas taste a kind of bittersweet shaved ice. Definitely mangonadas are a true delight and today I teach you how to always have them available in your home freezer, how? We will make mangonada popsicles.

    • 1 cups of chamoy sauce

HOW THE MANGONADA POPSICLES ARE MADE

    1. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil and place the sugar inside to dilute it well. Mix so the sugar melts into the water. Set aside and cool slightly.
    2. Peel the mangoes and remove the peel.
    3. In the blender, place the sugar syrup that we prepared together with the 2 and a half mango pieces.
    4. Add the juice of 1 lemon
    5. Blend very well until creating a pulp or smoothie type mix.
    6. Taste the pulp and verify that it does not need more sugar. The amount of sugar can vary according to how sweet the mangoes you use are.
    7. If you prepare the chamoy recipe with my Authentic Homemade Chamoy Recipe, you no longer need to season it. If you buy buy it, you may need to add a little more sugar, and chili powder or taijn to taste.
    8. Take your popsicle mold and place some chamoy in the bottom. Add some of the mango mixture and a couple of diced mango squares sprinkled with chili powder. On top of this, place the mango mixture and then another round of chamoy, mango squares and mango… repeat until is fill.
    9. Cover and place the respective stick or lid with handle of the ice pop mold.
    10. Freeze for 4 hours.

HOW LONG DOES POSICLES TAKE TO FREEZE?

A water-based and fruit-based ice popsicle like Mexican Mangonadas Paletas Heladas recipe can take around 3 hours to freeze. Cream-based Mexican paletas heladas can take up to 4 hours to freeze and be ready to unmold.

HOW TO UNMOLD A PALETA DE HIELO?

Removing the popsicles from their mold is very easy. Pass the mold through a little water at a time for about 15 seconds and the popsicles will begin to detach themselves. I don’t recommend using hot water as popsicles melt very easily.

HOW CAN I MAKE ICE POPSICLES IF I DON’T HAVE A POPSICLE MOLD?

You can make popsicles in any container you have in your kitchen. Disposable cups work wonders. Use a disposable cup as a mold and place a wooden stick to hold it when you unmold it.

    Ingredients

    • 3 mangoes
    • 1 cup of chamoy sauce
    • 2 cups of water
    • 1/2 cup of sugar
    • 2 tbsp of chilli powder or tajin
    • Juice of 1 lemon

    Instructions

    • Bring 1 cup of water to a boil and place the sugar inside to dilute it well. Mix so the sugar melts into the water. set aside and cool a little
    • Peel the mangoes and remove the pit.
    • In the blender, place the sugar syrup that we prepared together with the 2 and a half mango pieces. Cut the rest of the mango into small squares to place it in pieces within the frozen mango and chamoy popsicles.
