The Papaya Smoothie is an excellent remedy to combat constipation. The combination of celery with papaya in this natural smoothie without milk is the perfect natural way to cleanse the colon. Enjoy a refreshing drink full of antioxidants and fiber!

    Papaya Smoothie

    PAPAYA SMOOTHIE BENEFITS

Papaya contains an enzyme called papain that breaks down protein, enables healthy digestion, and helps remove impurities from the intestine. Just to give you an idea for centuries, papaya has been used to break down meat protein, so imagine what it won’t do to your digestion!

This papaya smoothie recipe is a combination of fruit with vegetables, delicious and very fresh, as well as being a child-friendly natural laxative remedy. If your child suffers from constipation, you can give him this juice. I also recommend giving him yogurt with papaya, little honey, and sliced almonds at breakfast or as a snack, that will also help him with his bowel movement.

    Juice for constipation

It is important that if you are looking for a juice, a smoothie, or natural shake that helps you go to the bathroom, do not use the same remedy every day. Do not always use the same laxative juice or smoothie because you are going to get bored, and your body can get used to it and it will no longer have the same efficacy.

For this reason, I will be uploading different options for natural colon cleansing juices or smoothies that are gentle and effective with your intestine.

Many people are even on pain when they go to the bathroom. Constipation is serious. you need to evacuate often to take out of your body that your body does not need! Regular exercise such as walking can help to improve the bowel movement. Stress is also a great factor in constipation.

    HOW TO MAKE PAPAYA SMOOTHIE

There are several options for this smoothie, I will show you the version with celery but there are people who prefer to make the papaya smoothie with aloe vera. It is the same technique only substitute celery for half a cup of the gelatinous substance that encases the aloe vera plant.

HOW TO MAKE PAPAYA SMOOTHIE WITHOUT MILK

Remove the peel from the papaya and cut it into pieces. You will require a cup of papaya for each portion and 2 celery sticks. If you are preparing it for children, I recommend only using a celery stick because the celery flavor is very intense and is generally not very liked by children’s palates.

Place 1 ½ cups of water, 1 cup of papaya, and 2 celery sticks cut into three parts in a blender. Blend everything very well until the ingredients are pulverized. Serve in a glass, if you want you can add a couple of ice cubes for a more refreshing drink.

    PAPAYA SMOOTHIE INGREDIENTS

Serving for 1 person. Preferably take on an empty stomach.

    • 2 celery sticks
    • 1 cup papaya
    • 1 ½ cups of water

CAN I PREPARE A DAY BEFORE THE PAPAYA BLEND?

The reality is that the fresher your smoothies are the more properties they will have. Preparing the papaya smoothie does not take more than five minutes, so I advise you to prepare it daily so that it is more effective.
